Job Description Details:

Job purpose:

The Education Program Officer is responsible for ensuring compliance with the proposed project plan, overseeing that project progress aligns with the budget and schedule, and guaranteeing the delivery of all project services with high-quality standards. He/She will be accountable for the preparation, implementation, and planning of the project, while effectively coordinating relationships and communications among stakeholders to facilitate project success

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Define and manage the project's detailed schedule to ensure timely completion of all tasks and deliverables.
  • Outline project activities clearly and prioritize them in a logical sequence to optimize workflow.
  • Participate actively in monitoring indicators related to the project's logical framework to assess progress and effectiveness.
  • Oversee the identification, tracking, management, and resolution of project issues, problems, and challenges to maintain project momentum.
  • Publish project updates and information to all stakeholders and prepare presentations to communicate project status and developments.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks proactively to minimize potential impacts on project outcomes.
  • Establish and implement effective communication protocols tailored to the needs of stakeholders to ensure clarity and transparency.
  • Submit comprehensive project reports, achievements, records, and other relevant documents to the Program Manager after thorough review, along with recommendations for improvement.
  • Represent the organization in meetings and workshops related to the program, advocating for project goals and objectives.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the line manager to support project objectives and organizational goals.

Requirements:

  • University degree.
  • At least 2 years of experience working on educational projects.
  • Excellent command of English.
  • Proficient office skills.
  • Maintain an effective presence in meetings.
  • Ability to prepare comprehensive reports.
