The Project Coordinator will oversee the planning,
technical implementation, and monitoring of infrastructure rehabilitation
activities, specifically focused on irrigation lines and agricultural warehouse
facilities. The position requires strong engineering expertise and proven
experience in managing construction and rehabilitation projects in complex,
resource-constrained settings.
The Project Coordinator will ensure that project
activities are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and in compliance
with technical, safety, and donor standards. The role will also involve
coordination with local authorities, contractors, and community stakeholders.
Academic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Architecture,
or a related field.
A Master’s degree in
a relevant field is highly preferred.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in construction project management, with a focus on infrastructure rehabilitation.
- Proven track record managing the design and implementation of irrigation networks and/or agricultural warehouse facilities.
- Experience working with NGOs, UN agencies, or development programs in fragile or post-conflict contexts preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction safety standards, quality assurance protocols, and environmental compliance.
- Excellent skills in project planning tools (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD, Excel).
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Fluency in Arabic; working knowledge of English is required.
